Yeah, some are faster and some have longer range. There is a guide on guru somewhere with that info...

in my opinion, i love the short bow. range isnt so great but the refire rate and flight time make up for it. short bows are very useful during close combat situations. also, short bows usually tend to hit moving targets too. bows the have long range usually miss moving targets. but it's a good thing to have a variety of bows in your inventory for different situations. currently i carry an icy short bow of warding, shocking ascalon bow, fiery composite bow and longbow of enchanting.

i like the flatbow best personally. the travel time is pretty slow, but it's got great range and refire rate. the travel time can actually kind of work to your advantage in conjunction with determined shot

get two: flatbow, and halfmoon/shortbow.
I guess in pvp you want maximum range first, so you can pin down any enemy before he could do anything on you (i think wand/staff/magic are all range 70 comparing to flatbow 100), then switch to short bow for the kill. It took me about 24 hours online time to find a gold flatbow with 12%dmg enchanted. lol. comparatively you can see a shortbow every 30 minutes. |

your missing the storm bow off that chart. which is I belive is the best overall bow in terms of distance, fireing rate and arrow time. Plus it looks very nice too

I've got a storm bow and tested it -same specs as a long bow, maybe some more critical.
